In case you ever felt like riding the legendary Pokémon in real life, Toyota is making an actual Miraidon motorcycle.
Since the release of the original games, numerous brands have done promotions for Game Freak. During the launch of Generation 2, Chrysler and Volkswagen made cars based on Lugia and Pikachu. Toyota is now following suit post-launch of Generation 9.
There have been tons of other examples too. McDonald’s has offered Pokémon-themed Happy Meals, Nippon Airways had a plane dedicated to the games, and Japan’s Tohoku region made a Poké-train.
On Reddit, three images of a brand new Miraidon Toyota motorcycle were shared from what looks like a rock-climbing facility. This vehicle sits on commercial-grade G-flooring adjacent to a metal stool.

Ropes surround the vehicle to stop people from approaching too close. Just like the in-game legendary from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, Miraidon’s arms sit near the front wheel as it rests its chin and its legs flank on the opposing ends of the rear wheel.
Lights illuminate the Electric/Dragon mon’s eyes, while the jet propulsion engines are replicated in the framing of the motorcycle. Parts of the vehicle shine a light purple with a blue paint job, and the inner metallic workings are visible near the sections of the limbs.
Officially called the Toyota Engineering Society Miraidon Project, this motorcycle bears an uncanny similarity to the actual legendary. Interestingly enough, Toyota does not manufacture motorcycles, which hints at where the vehicle’s brand may be heading in the future. Even with most of the motorcycle frame resembling others, its wheels have a flat bottom. It could simply be a promotional design rather than one built to function.
Hopefully, we will see another brand use Koraidon, the opposing legendary from Generation 9, as inspiration for a competing model. As the Pokémon franchise charges on, the trend of vehicles meant to commemorate the series will likely continue.
