This guide explains how to start and complete the Alliance Alert mission in Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR) called “To Find a Findsman” on Zakuul.
In order to unlock the Alliance Alert, “To Find a Findsman”, you must first complete up to Chapter 9 of the Knights of the Fallen Empire (KotFE) storyline in SWTOR. As soon as you establish a base on the planet Odessen, you can begin recruitment. This particular Alliance Alert has you recruiting a companion named Yuun.
To Find a Findsman is a prerequisite for many other Alliance Recruitment missions. It’s simple and easy to do.

Where to find Yuun
When you arrive in Zakuul, you still start at the Undercity Central zone. From the Shuttle District, go east and take the platform elevator to the top of the Central Catwalks, then head down to the Residential Sector.
After arriving at the Undercity, go east again to reach the Undercity Transport Station. Take the stairs down to the Tram Service Rails in the Maintenance Transport Tunnels.
Talk to Yuun. He will greet you and explain that in order to join you he will need help obtaining four items. Choose one of the first two dialogue options (agree to help him) and continue.
Yuun will request you find four components. They can be collected in any order. Each of them has a label and a unique feature depending on which class you play. Force classes make the items activate. Tech classes switch the items on when clicking them.
Recover the First Component
Go back up to the Undercity, taking the platform elevator to the Tram Market.
The First Component is next to a wall between the Armormech and Scavenging trainers.
Recover the Second Component
From the Undercity, continue west until reaching the station, then take an additional right to get to the train to Breaktown.
After arriving in Breaktown, find the Second Component southwest of the station.
Recover the Third Component
While still in Breaktown, find the Third Component in a pile of trash in a back alley in Downtown Central. Classes with Stealth can avoid the encounter and sneak past the mobs.
Recover the Fourth Component
Go south to the Midtown District and collect the Fourth Component.
Once you have acquired all four Components, simply Quick Travel (QT) to the Breaktown terminal and return to Yuun in the Maintenance Transport Tunnels.
When you tell Yuun that you have recovered all components, then go back and visit Dr. Oggurobb on Odessen.
Return to Dr. Oggurobb
Simply open the Companions and Contacts menu, scroll down to find the name: Juvard Illip Oggurobb in the Alliance Specialists tab, and click on the button “Travel to Contact”. This immediately transports you to the Odessen Alliance Camp base.
Quest Rewards
You will receive some rewards for helping Dr. Oggurobb. These include the following items:
- Credits
