After buying Fireworks from the adult Mole inside the house, return outside to find an NPC hidden behind the group of crates. She may be difficult to spot at first, but if you look closely, you will see pink ribbons sticking out.
The girl will trade Mario a Shiny Stone in exchange for some Fireworks. This Shiny Stone is a key item required to access the Culex boss fight.
