Summer Game Fest Live 2025: All Major Announcements

Summer Game Fest Live 2025 is over, with world premiere debuts and updates across multiple games and platforms spread throughout the two-hour show. Below, you'll see every game and announcement from the showcase, which was packed with some real surprises, including a new Resident Evil game, a new Mortal Shell, and much more. Resident Evil Requiem The show ended with Resident Evil: Requiem, described as a "bold new direction" for the franchise. The trailer introduced the heroine, Grace Ashcroft, who must return to a decimated Raccoon City. Fortnite Death Star Sabotage Epic Games presented a trailer for Death Star Sabotage, the in-game event marking the end of the Star Wars-themed Galactic Battle season. Players can expect blasters, lightsabers, and stormtroopers throughout the event, which takes place June 7. Lies of P: Overture A new trailer for the upcoming downloadable store expansion, Overture aired during the show. Along with new gameplay showcasing some new abilities, we also received a release date for the DLC, and it's out right now. Dying Light: The Beast A new gameplay trailer for Dying Light: The Beast came next, showing off more of Dying Light 1 hero Kyle Crane's return to the franchise. The reveal also confirmed The Beast's launch date as August 22 on consoles and PC. Wu-Tang: Rise of the Deceiver Wu-Tang: Rise Of The Deceiver is an co-op action hack-and-slash RPG from Brass Lion Entertainment. Players will team up to face The Deceiver, an "invasive, corrupting entity" and its forces. Onimusha: Way of the Sword A new look at Capcom’s upcoming samurai action game, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, introduced new monsters and a rival named Sasaki. Game of Thrones: War for Westeros A new real-time strategy game set in the world of Game of Thrones made its debut during the event. War for Westeros is being made by Australian developer PlaySide Studio, whose previous RTS experience includes Warcraft III: Reforged. Arc Raiders Four years after its initial announcement in 2021, Arc Raiders--the multiplayer extraction shooter from Embark Studios--will finally launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 30. Hitman: World of Assassination IO Interactive took the stage next to unveil the next Elusive Target coming to the stealth action game. Mads Mikkelsen will reprise his role as LeChiffre from Casino Royale. That launches today, while a Hitman crossover with MindsEye is also coming. Scott Pilgrim EX Marvel Cosmic Invasion wasn't Tribute Games's only announcement of SGF Live. The studio--which is made up of many members of this IP's last video game from Ubisoft--announced Scott Pilgrim EX, a new pixelated brawler starring Scott and his friends. Mortal Shell 2 Cold Symmetry kicked the show off with Mortal Shell II, the sequel to the 2020 souls-like action-RPG. Killer Inn This new IP from Tactic Games and Square Enix pits 24 players against one another in a mysterious mansion. Some players are assigned to be Wolves and must eliminate all of the other players, called Lambs, without being found out. A closed beta test for Killer Inn is "coming soon." Code Vein II Bandai Namco announced Code Vein II, a follow-up to the anime souls-like action-RPG. End Of Abyss Section 9 and Epic Games Publishing debuted End Of Abyss, a creepy isometric twin-stick shooter. Mouse: P.I. For Hire A new trailer for Mouse: P.I. For Hire revealed that Troy Baker will voice the hero, Jack Pepper. Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Hideo Kojima took the stage to kick off the Death Stranding 2: On The Beach world tour at SGF. Kojima also presented a clip of Neil, played by Luca Marinelli, speaking with Lucy, played by Alyssa Jung. Wildgate Wildgate, the spacefaring PvPvE multiplayer action game from Moonshot Games, debuted a new trailer that showed more of the game’s space exploration and ship combat. The open beta starts next week, and the game launches on consoles and PC in July. Stranger Than Heaven Ryu Go Gotoku showed new footage of Project Century, now known as Stranger Than Heaven, which takes place in the 1940s. Towa and the Guardians of the Secred Tree Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree is a new action roguelike inspired by classic Japanese animation. It’s due to launch September 19. Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds (character roster update) Three guest racers were confirmed for the upcoming kart racer, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds: Hatsune Miku, Ichiban Kasuga, and Joker from Persona 5. Also, in collaboration with Xbox, tracks and racers from Minecraft will be part of the game. Atomic Heart 2 and the Cube Mundfish is taking players back to the surreal world of Atomic Heart with two new projects: a full sequel in Atomic Heart II, and an experimental multiplayer game called The Cube. Marvel Cosmic Invasion The latest trailer for the next 2D beat-'em'-up brawler from Tribute Games and DotEmu aired next. New gameplay showed off two newly announced characters for the playable roster: She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon. Felt That Boxing Felt That Boxing is a Punch-Out style arcade boxing game where every character is a Jim Henson-style puppet. LEGO Voyagers Lego Voyagers is a two-player co-op game from Annapurna sees two small Lego pieces try to traverse the world together. LEGO Party Lego Party is a Mario Party-style multiplayer party game with over 60 minigames and built entirely out of Lego. ILL Ill is a new first-person survival horror title, and the debut game from Team Clout. The debut trailer showed multiple ghastly creattires the player will be battling, including some sort of baby-like ghoul. Chronicles: Medieval This "medieval sandbox" from Copenhagen-based Raw Power Games makes its debut next. The announcement trailer mixed cinematic with gameplay, all set to a voiceover provided by actor Tom Hardy. Dune: Awakening The launch trailer for the upcoming sandbox survival game set in the world of Arrakis gave Dune fans a new look at what to expect when the game launches June 10. Out Of Words Out Of Words is a co-op platformer set entirely in stop-motion animation. It’s due to launch in 2026. Mafia: The Old Country 2K and Hangar 13 brought a new look at Mafia: The Old Country, which takes the action franchise back to the old days of 1900s Sicily. The trailer showed hero Enzo and his many dealings with the criminal underworld. Nicktoons & The Dice Of Destiny Nicktoons & The Dice Of Destiny is a new adventure game featuring Spongebob SquarePants and many other Nicktoon characters. Fractured Blooms This new first-person horror adventure game from Serenity Forge is described as "Doki Doki Literature Club meets Silent Hill.” Mina The Hollower After a year without updates, Yacht Club Games has finally divulged new information about its upcoming Game Boy Color-esque adventure Mina The Hollower. Not only is it confirmed for a Halloween launch, but a new demo is now available on Steam. Deadpool VR Marvel Games has unveiled a new Deadpool VR action game starting everyone's favorite Merc With A Mouth. The announcement trailer confirmed that Neil Patrick Harris will voice the Marvel antihero. Mixtape A new trailer for Beethoven & Dinosaur's coming-of-age story Mixtape came next, as it followed the antics of three teenage friends on their last night together. The trio are seen sneaking out of the house, skateboarding down a leaf-blown street, and more. Acts Of Blood Acts Of Blood is an action shooter developed by a single person from Indonesia. It’s set to launch in summer 2026. Blighted The latest project from Guacamelee developer Drinkbox Studios was revealed to be Blighted, an isometric metroidvania-style action game. The debut trailer showed some of the game's fast-paced combat and massive bosses. Mecha Break The bipedal much multiplayer game's latest trailer confirmed a July 1 release date. Infinitesimals An eight-person team called Cubit Studios debuted their first game next. Infinitesimals is a third-person shooter following a conflict between warring bugs. Street Fighter 6 (DLC) The next set of downloadable fighters for Capcom brawler Street Fighter 6 were revealed in a new teaser featuring professional wrestler Kenny Omega. The Year 3 lineup is as follows: Alex Crimson Viper Ingrid Sagat Last Flag Last Flag is a competitive multiplayer capture-the-flag game from Night Street Games, a studio founded by Imagine Dragons lead singer Dan Reynolds and manager Mac Reynolds. Wuchang: Fallen Feathers A new trailer for Wuchang, the souls-like action game from Leenzee Games and 505 Games. The game is scheduled to launch for consoles and PC on July 24. Into The Unwell Into The Unwell, the first game from a Swedish developer named She Was A Good Horse, is a "whack'n'slash" co-op roguelite where up to three players take on a cartoonish world based on the 1930s "rubber hose" style of animation.
