Steam, the world’s most renowned marketplace for the digital distribution of PC games, is celebrating 20 years of service.
In honor of this incredible anniversary, Valve’s store is having a major sale on tons of titles and chronicles the history of the launcher through the years on the home page.
Launched on September 12, 2003, Steam began as a game client to automatically update titles by Valve but eventually expanded to distribute third-party titles in 2005.
The biggest sales involve Valve games, but there are other titles from major publishers at chump change prices as well. In the points shop, you can acquire some adorable art that includes stickers and backgrounds.
