In this guide, you will learn where to find squid kids while playing Stardew Valley.
Squid Kids are mobs that can be found in the mines. They are not found in the early game, but are easy to deal with.
Note that Squid Kids do not spawn as often as other mobs, but you will recognize them as pink floating balls with faces. The stronger versions appear yellow and wear sunglasses.
Where do Squid Kids spawn in Stardew Valley?
Squid Kids are found in the mines, between floors 81 to 119. If you are looking for them exclusively, you will need to unlock the elevator for the 80th floor. What’s more, you can craft and use staircases for the purposes of speeding up the process.
If you progress each of the floors and somehow don’t encounter one, consider leaving the mines, sleeping, then heading back in.
What do Squid Kids drop?
You can loot Solar Essence, Squid Ink, Bomb, Mega Bomb, Gold Bar, Dwarf Scroll III, Dwarf Scroll IV, and more from Squid Kids. When found in the bottom of the mines, they can drop Diamond and Prismatic Shard.
Squid Kids only have 1 HP, and are very easy to kill. They shoot fireballs, which are simple to dodge. However, the base damage for their attack is 18 points. You will receive 15 XP for each Squid Kid you slay.
