How to Have Children in Stardew Valley
Marriage has its own perks in the game with partners giving a range of benefits depending on the one you choose. But of course, you can even have your own kids.
Below are the requirements to have children in Stardew Valley:
- Married to a partner
- Farmhouse needs to have the Nursery upgrade and an extra room
After this, when you go to bed for the night, there is a 1 in 20 chance your partner will ask you if you want to have/adopt a child. There are 2 responses available saying either ‘yes’ or ‘not now’. Depending on the orientation and gender of the couple, the child will be biological or adopted.
Tips About Children in Stardew Valley
The gender of the child is random. However, you can have two children in the game. You can only have a second child once your first child reaches the Toddler stage. The gender of your second child will be opposite to that of your first. You should also note that the children will never grow past the Toddler stage.
