Where to catch Bream in Stardew Valley
Bream can be found in the rivers of Pelican Town and Cindersap Forest. It can be acquired during any season after 6 PM.

Players who do not want to fish for Bream can search Garbage Cans to randomly find it during any season. Or, they can purchase Bream from the Traveling Cart for anywhere between 135 to 1,000 Gold.
How to use Bream in Stardew Valley
After players have a Bream, they can sell it or use it for quests. Bream is not an ideal gift for any resident of Pelican Town. The fish sells for anywhere between 45 to 90 Gold, depending on the quality. With the Angler’s Profession, fish will sell for up to 50% more Gold.
There is a “Help Wanted” signpost that randomly appears outside Pierre’s General Store during the Fall and Winter. Delivering a Bream rewards players with 150 Friendship points and 135 Gold.
Players can use Bream as a key ingredient for cooking recipes like Baked Fish, Maki Rolls, and Sashimi. The fish can also be used to make a Quality Fertilizer.
Two Bream may be requested by Dorado, Lingcod, or Pike to expand the Fish Pond from 3 slots to 5 slots. When placed in a Fish Pond, Bream will breed every 2 days.
When used in a Sewing Machine, Bream can create a Fish Shirt.
