Search around for a Maple tree on your farm. It is usually one of the three types of trees. To extract, you will need a tapper.
Crafting a tapper requires Level 3 foraging. This skill can be leveled up by gathering wild resources that are typically strewn around. It requires the following ingredients:
- 40x Wood
- 2x Copper Bars
Extraction of maple syrup from Maple trees takes around 9 days for each tree. Tappers can be placed on multiple trees at once so they can be collected in bulk and stored up.
Maple syrup is sold for 200g. It is also an important gift for many of the residents and is a ‘liked’ gift. It is also needed to complete some tasks in the Community Center. It is most importantly used in making the Bee House.
