Sonic Rumble is a brand-new multiplayer game arriving exclusively on mobile devices. It’s a battle-royale-style racing experience where up to 32 players compete to collect as many rings as possible and prove themselves the fastest.
Players can customize their own character or compete as one of the many iconic faces from the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
Angry Birds developer Rovio is making the game in its first release with SEGA since the acquisition in 2023 for $775 million.
From the looks of the official trailer, it appears as if Sonic Rumble will be similar to Fall Guys, a game made by Epic Games in 2020 that also allows for up to 32 players.
Although Sonic Rumble is not slated to release until winter, anyone can sign up to be a beta tester. It is available for iOS and Android users to register until May 19.
