Sasha Grey recently confirmed that she will provide the voice for a radio DJ character in the upcoming ‘Phantom Liberty’ DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 by developer CD Projekt Red.
This DLC will take place in a new area of Night City, with a spy-thriller narrative.
Grey is a former adult actress whose full name is Marina Ann Hantz. She began streaming on Twitch in early 2020 and has quickly grown a massive following since that time.
In addition to Grey, the Phantom Liberty DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 will see Keanu Reeves reprising the Johnny Silverhand role.
CD Projekt Red confirmed that Phantom Liberty will be the only major content update for Cyberpunk 2077. It is coming in 2023 to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Although the base game launched on consoles from previous generations, the DLC will not be accessible on them.
Despite no new content on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, CD Projekt Red will provide ongoing technical support.
Cyberpunk 2077 was poised to be the biggest game release of 2020, as it was a project nearly a decade in the making and made by the same studio that won multiple Game of the Year awards for 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Sadly, it had an extremely rough launch, with CEO Marcin Iwiński issuing a public apology for the state of its release at the time.
Fortunately, the studio has worked incredibly hard to iron out all the issues with the original version, and the wildly successful Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime series that recently aired has brought back a renewed interest in the franchise for many gamers.
