After 14 years, Rockstar’s beloved western epic Red Dead Redemption is arriving on PC along with the Undead Nightmare DLC. It will be available on October 29.
Double Eleven is responsible for the PC port of Red Dead Redemption in collaboration with Rockstar Games. There will be a bucketload of PC-specific features, including native 4K visuals at up to 144hz, and support for wide and ultrawide monitors. In addition, the game will offer support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 + AMD FSR 3.0 + HDR10 upscaling. NVIDIA DLSS frame generation is supported, while players can also adjust shadow quality and draw distance.
The game will be released across the Steam, Epic Games, and Rockstar PC storefronts.
Although Red Dead Redemption II (2018) came to PC only a year after debuting on consoles, the first Red Dead Redemption (2010) only launched on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, being completely inaccessible to PC gamers unless you were to rely on emulation. The game was released on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in August 2023.
As of now, Rockstar is busy developing Grand Theft Auto VI, which is currently set to release in Fall 2025.
