Dreamcatchers are a unique collectible you can find any time after Chapter 2. If you manage to collect all 20, then you’ll unlock the Ancient Arrowhead in Elysian Pool.
Dreamcatcher Locations in Red Dead Redemption 2
Dreamcatchers are always hanging from trees at certain unique locations. Here is a list of where to find all 20 in the game.
Dreamcatcher 1 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found in a tree by the fork in Bluewater Marsh.
Dreamcatcher 2 Location
This Dreamcatcher is found in a maple tree with no leaves on the right side of the road to the northwest of Lonnie’s Shack.
Dreamcatcher 3 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found in a big tree standing by itself to the northeast of Lonnie’s Shack.
Dreamcatcher 4 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the northeast of Emerald Station, in a big tree standing by itself.
Dreamcatcher 5 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the northeast of Emerald Ranch, in a large tree with no leaves.
Dreamcatcher 6 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the southwest of Emerald Ranch, in a large tree with no leaves standing by itself.
Dreamcatcher 7 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the northwest of Flatneck Station, in the tree on the edge of the plateau above the river bank.
Dreamcatcher 8 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the west of Caliban’s Seat. A sign with arrows will be pointing towards Limpany and Valentine. Go straight past the sign and find it on the left side of the large group of trees.
Dreamcatcher 9 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the east of Caliban’s Seat. Start heading northeast on the trail towards Valentine, take a right at the first fork, then a left at the second fork going up the hill. Head east until you see a rocky wall, then go left around the rock wall to get to the top of it. Find it in a tree right next to the largest tree in the area.
Dreamcatcher 10 Location
This Dreamcatcher is found to the northeast of Citadel Rock. You will find a 4-way intersection with a sign. Take the road towards Fort Wallace, then a left at the 4-way intersection after crossing the railroad tracks. As you pass under the bridge, it’s in a tree straight ahead on the left side of the trail.
Dreamcatcher 11 Location
This Dreamcatcher is found to the northwest of Caliban’s Set. Head directly west past Valentine, then take a right on a small trail. About 20 feet down you will find it in a tree on the left with a stump in front of it.
Dreamcatcher 12 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the northeast of Cattail Pond. Cross the river and take the first left on the path that curves northwest under the railroad bridge. From the railroad bridge, go off the trail and head straight north-northwest straight to the top of the peak.
Dreamcatcher 13 Location
This Dreamcatcher is found to the southwest of Window Rock. Find a trail with a fork, take a right at the second fork heading east. The correct trail will be a solid line on your map.
You will eventually see a campfire and tent to your right. A little ways after that there is a log sticking out above the trail on the left. Turn left up the hill immediately after the log. Find it in the big tree right behind the log and a small stump.
Dreamcatcher 14 Location
This Dreamcatcher is to the east of Cotarra Springs. Turn right at the fork, then continue straight on the path and find a tree right in front of you. It’s fuller and thicker than the others.
Dreamcatcher 15 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the northeast of O’Creagh’s Run. Head north uphill on the trail from Bacchus Station. Take a right at the fork to head east. Follow this trail east until you reach The Loft. It’s in the only bare tree on the right of the trail.
Dreamcatcher 16 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found to the north of Annesburg. Reach the railroad tracks and find a canyon to the right that the tracks pass through, by the edge of the steep rock face is a path down to the next level. Ride southeast to the path and then follow it east until you cross the river. After you cross the river the tree containing it is directly to the north just off the trail.
Dreamcatcher 17 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found along the river to the Annesburg Crossroads. It’s in a very large tree with no leaves.
Dreamcatcher 18 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found on a trail east towards Annesburg. You will see some dead trees on the right side as you reach a downward slope right turn. Go up the hill to the right here and it will be in a dead tree on the edge of the cliff.
Dreamcatcher 19 Location
This Dreamcatcher can be found south of Annesburg. Go through the woods and up the hill. You have to just go to the marker and look around.
The tree doesn’t stand out from the rest of the trees here and it’s a little harder to spot from a distance because it is up higher in the tree. Remember to use Eagle eye if you have trouble seeing it.
Dreamcatcher 20 Location
This Dreamcatcher is south of the Kamassa River. Take the fork left and go down the winding hill towards the river. Cross the river and head west. Just beyond the foundation of an old house is where you’ll find it.
