Here are all the guides, tips, and strategies to enjoy playing Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando (2003) with cheats and unlockables.
Tips & Tricks
Boost Ship Without Depleting Boost Bar
Tap the CROSS (X) button repeatedly.
Climb Walls
After unlocking First Person Mode, enter it and double jump towards a wall. Repeatedly press the SQUARE button to climb it.
Free Weapons
If you have a completed game save file of the original Ratchet & Clank on your PlayStation 2 memory card, you will receive the 5 weapons that return in Going Commando for free.
Infinite Bolts
Get the Nuclear device. Then, go to the Thug Rendezvous and do the second mission that requires you to kill 30 space wasps.
Aim the crosshairs slightly downwards and fire the nuke. If done correctly, all 30 space wasps will be dead in 3 seconds, which will earn you 600 bolts in Normal Mode, and 6000 bolts in Challenge Mode.
Insomniac Museum
On Planet Bolden: Silver City, ride the power lines to the construction site but don’t jump on the first steel beam.
Instead, make sure you’re on the left power line and hit the transformer. As you hit the transformer, press jump, and execute a heli-glide over to the left where the city is.
Now make your way to the street and follow it to the end to find a lone building towards the South of the map(you pass underneath this when continuing with the power lines). Make your way either left or right around the building.
At about halfway, try to walk through the building and make your way to the center (you may have to jump through). Start to jump, and then immediately center the camera (Press L1 and R1 at the same time) because you’ll have to take out several Thugs.
There will be two teleporters in the building, one that goes back to the ship, and one that goes to the Insomniac Museum. Take the one to the museum and enjoy!
