The second expansion to Pokémon TCG Pocket, entitled the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, will add 140 new cards on January 30.
Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia from the Sinnoh region have bent time and space to rule the battlefield as dimension-altering Pokémon ex. The Space-Time Smackdown expansion also includes exciting Pokémon ex cards, new Trainer cards, and gorgeous immersive cards ready to bring you into the wondrous world of Pokémon.
The Pokemon Company has also confirmed that the previously announced trading feature will be added to Pokemon TCG Pocket on January 29, one day before the launch of Spacetime Smackdown. Players will be able to trade cards with registered friends in the app using two new items–Trade Hourglasses and Trade Tokens.
The trade feature will have some limitations, however, as only cards from Genetic Apex and Mythical Island can be selected for trade. Furthermore, trades will be limited to cards of certain rarities, and cards must be traded for cards of the same rarity in order for the trade to be successful.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket launched October 30, 2024 on iOS and Android devices, where it offers a new way to experience the Pokémon TCG, which originally launched in America in January 1999.
