The Alola region represents the seventh generation of Pokémon, and despite all the new features and the Hawaii-like setting, the core mechanic of version exclusives remains. That means there are Pokémon unique to Sun that you cannot get in Moon, and vice versa. If you’ve gotta catch ’em all, you will need to trade with someone.
Here is a list of all version exclusives available in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
