Pokémon Sun and Moon: All Starters and Evolutions

gen 7 starters and evolutions

With Sun and Moon, the seventh generation of Pokémon introduces three new starters. Here is a list of their evolutions and which to pick.

As with all previous games, there are three cute creatures representing the three fundamental types that are a staple of the series for you to choose from shortly after you start the experience. These include Fire, Grass, and Water.

Whichever of the starter Pokémon in Sun and Moon that you decide on, Gladion, your rival, will opt for the one weak to it. This means if you choose Litten, you will regularly battle against Rowlet, as grass is weak to fire.
