How to change clothes in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Get some new clothes in your bag, then press the Left directional pad button on the Joy-Con or the controller.
Navigate through the categories with the left and right buttons on the D-Pad, choose the clothes you wish to try on with the up and down buttons, then press A to try them on.
Outfits can be previewed by pressing Y.
How to change uniform
You can swap between uniforms for Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. However, it stays on the whole time. Furthermore, the uniform colors match your version of the game (orange/red for Scarlet, blue/purple for Violet).
How to change hats
Open the hat menu and press X to remove the school hat. This also works with glasses, gloves, and socks. Note that certain hairstyles are incompatible with hats, which is why they don’t always load.
How to change Rotom Phone case
Change the Rotom Phone case using the clothing menu. Go all the way to the right to find the option. New cases can be purchased at Delibird Presents, as well as a woman near the steps in Mesagoza.
How to change appearance in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
Press Y to open up the outfit menu, then press the (+) button to open the appearance menu. Here, you can change your face completely, from your eye shape to your makeup. You can also press the (-) button to temporarily remove glasses and hats so you can preview your look better.
How to change hairstyle in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
You must visit a salon in order to change your hairstyle. These can be found on your map in major cities, where they appear as a scissors icon. It costs $3000 Pokémon Dollars to change your hairstyle.
Where to buy new clothes
Clothes shops can be found in the cities — Mesagoza, Levicia, and Cascarrafa. Open the map while you’re in one of these places and you’ll see the shops marked on your map — the ones with a little T-shirt are the fashion boutiques. These will often appear as just “Fashion street”, which is a row of fashion-focused shops.

How to get the Teal Style Card
Progress through the main story until you meet Carmine and Kieran’s grandparents. This is right after finding the first two Signboards in the Kitakami region with Kieran.
How to use the Teal Style Card
Once the Teal Style Card is in the Key Items inventory, visit clothing store owners and hairdressers across Paldea. You will see a dialogue box acknowledging you have the card on you.
The Indigo Style Card
The Indigo Style Card is yet another Key Item that grants more clothing and hairstyle options in the game. It was introduced in The Indigo Mask DLC.

Progress through the main story until arrive at the Blueberry Academy. You will receive it shortly after.

Once the Indigo Style Card is in the Key Items inventory, visit clothing store owners and hairdressers across Paldea. You will see a dialogue box acknowledging you have the card on you.
