Pokémon Gold and Silver (1999) represent the second generation of mons from the Johto region. Pokémon Crystal is a third version of Gold and Silver featuring Ho-Oh, Lugia, and a new legendary named Suicune.

The game is enjoyable by itself, but cheating makes it even better. Always keep in mind to input codes with a Gameshark.

There are several ways to enter cheat codes for Pokémon Gold & Silver, depending on the device you are using to play.

Game Boy Color

If you’re using a Game Boy Color, insert your cartridge into a Gameshark.

Emulators

If you’re using an emulator like the Visual Boy Advance (VBA), follow the below steps:
