According to an article published by Game Rant, Antstream Arcade is bringing over 1300 retro games to PlayStation consoles starting on September 6. This will allow users to enjoy the catalog either with a subscription or a one-time lifetime access purchase.
This is set to be the first third-party cloud streaming service to come to PlayStation consoles. For years, Sony has been offering PlayStation Plus, a way for users to subscribe for access to online multiplayer on console and to access legacy titles.
On September 6, the Antstream Arcade gaming service will debut on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Users will be able to purchase in one of two different ways.
Service | Cost |
Monthly Subscription | $39.99 |
Lifetime Access | $99.99 |
This cloud service delivers hundreds of retro games to PlayStation consoles, with most of the catalog covering titles between the 1980s to the early 2000s. The debut on Sony consoles is scheduled to take place following the one-year anniversary of Antstream Arcade’s launch on Xbox. This service is also available on mobile devices including iOS and Android. Access to the original PC version is accessible via Anstream’s official website as well as the Epic Games Store.
