In this guide, you will learn how to assign Pals to work in Palworld.
You will need Pals to constantly work on your base to farm materials, cook food, grow harvests, kindle flames, and help build weapons, armor, and ammo.
The two methods to assign Pals to work include deploying Pals to your base and manually assigning them to tasks.
Deploy Pals to Your Base
Placing Pals from your Palbox into the base will randomly assign them to tasks that suit their proficiencies. You can find a complete list using our Paldeck guide.
Simply approach your Palbox and interact with it. You will see a window pop up on your screen showing two segments. The top segment includes the Pal Storage where the game stores extra Pals and the bottom segment is where worker Pals can be placed.
Drag and drop a Pal from the Pal Storage on your party to one of the circles at the bottom part of the window to assign them to work in your base.
Manually Assign Pals to Tasks
Throw your Pal towards a specific item in your base to have them work for you. If they are not compatible with the task, they will wander around and find something else to do.
Every site notifies of what kind of work suitability is needed for a Pal to operate it. Another way to ensure that a Pal works on the site is to summon a Pal from your party.
