mortal kombat 11 cheats and unlockables

Here are all the guides, tips, and strategies to enjoy playing Mortal Kombat 11 with cheats and unlockables.

While there is a helpful AI tutorial featured in Mortal Kombat 11 that teaches you how to perform fatalities, there are many secret characters, trophies, hidden codes, and alternate endings to unlock.

How to Perform Fatalities

There are two fatalities for each of the 25 playable characters in Mortal Kombat 11. As a result, the game has a total of 50 unique finishing moves. Fatalities are available at the end of the round. When the screen prompts you to “Finish Him/Her”, stand in the respective position and input the correct button sequence to execute the opponent.

Button combinations for default fatalities are found in each character’s Move List. To access, go to the main menu, Learn > Fatality Training to practice.

How to Give Mercy

In Mortal Kombat 11, Mercy is a new finishing move that restores the opponent’s health so the battle can continue.

If you perform a Mercy, and then a Fatality, you will earn extra points for executing two finishing moves in a single match.

  1. When the screen displays “Finish Him/Her, stand mid-range from your opponent, and hold the Left Trigger on your controller.
  2. Press Down three times.
  3. Release the Left Trigger.

How to Perform Fatal Blows

Each character has a desperation attack that can be used once per match. When low on health, press both trigger buttons on the controller at the same time.

Fatal blows can be blocked or dodged like any other attack, but if they connect, they do brutal damage.

Mortal Kombat 11 is a fighting game developed by NetherRealm Studios and initially released in 2019 for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. It was later released on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 in 2020.
