Where to Find Mithril Ore – BG3
Every known deposit of Mithril Ore in BG3 can be found in the Underdark City of Grymforge. Each deposit is surrounded by enemies and explosive lava, including Lava Elemental and Lava Mephits.
Upon your first arrival to the Decrepit Village, you will speak with a Duergar NPC. Fight him and his party to access the boat used to travel to Grymforge.
On the way, you will encounter another boat, and one of the NPCs, Corsair Greymon, will board your ship to talk. Choose to Deceive, Intimidate, or start a fight to resolve the encounter and get to Grymforge.
How to Get Mithril Ore – BG3
Attack any nearby Mithril Ore deposit you find with a member of your party to harvest it. The most effective way to get the Mithril Ore is via Bludgeoning or Force damage.
Once a deposit is broken, it will drop a single Mithril Ore that can be put in your inventory. This ore is needed to craft various Adamantine Items.
