In this guide, you will learn all about the Curse of Binding and what it does while playing Minecraft.

Curse of Binding in Minecraft

The Curse of Binding enchantment allows you to curse an item in Minecraft. If any player wears a cursed item in Minecraft’s Survival mode, players would not be able to remove it unless or until the item breaks or the player passes away. It is to be noted that a cursed item can only be removed in Creative mode.

You have the freedom to add the Curse of Binding enchantment to any piece of armor including helmets, chest plates, leggings, boots or elytra using an enchanting table, anvil, or game command.

The maximum level for the Curse of Binding enchantment is 1.

Wear the Enchanted Armor

If the player is already wearing the Cursed item, the enchantment on that player will not bind. Here’s a quick guide on how to wear the armor that is enchanted with the Curse of Binding.

You will have to shift each armor item such as helmet, chest plate, leggings, and boots with Curse of Binding from your inventory to your character’s armor boxes. As soon as you wear the armor, you will notice a change in your character’s appearance.

As you have donned the enchanted armor with Curse of Binding, you would not be able to take off these armor items until they break or you die.
