Metroid Prime is an action-adventure game developed by Retro Studios and initially released in 2002 for the Nintendo GameCube. It was later released on the Nintendo Wii as part of the Metroid Prime: Trilogy compilation in 2009. A remastered version was released on Nintendo Switch in 2023.
