Tips & Tricks
Skip Kraid and Ridley
Get the Ice Beam. Right before the room with the statues of Kraid and Ridley, have the winged enemy chase you and hit you as you are going through the door.
If done correctly, the enemy will follow you into the next room. Freeze him to create a stepping stone that allows you to get across the gap without fighting Kraid and Ridley. Theoretically, you can beat the game in less than 20 minutes using this glitch.
Metroid is an action-adventure game developed by Nintendo and initially released in 1986 for the Famicom. It was later released on NES in 1987. An enhanced remake, Metroid: Zero Mission, was released on Game Boy Advance in 2004.
