Tips & Tricks
Better Pitches
While holding the ball, charge up then let go of the A button right before the pitch. You will see a “NICE” message appear if done correctly.
Change Character’s Color
On Character Select, highlight any specific character, then press L to change their color.
Dive Catch
When close to the ball while trying to catch a hit, press A for the character to perform a dive catch.
Special Pitches & Hits
- Curve Balls – Hold in L+R and press A+DOWN while holding the speed pitch button.
Steal a Base
With a team player on any of the bases, right before the opponent’s pitch, press Y to attempt to steal a base.
Star Ball Hit
When up for bat, hold L+R and push A to hit the ball right before it hits. You can only use it a few times.
Super Ball
When pitching, hold R+A to throw a super ball. You can only use it a few times.
Super Speed
Press the B button rapidly while running to run faster.
Cheats (Action Replay)
The game is enjoyable by itself, but cheating makes it even better. Always keep in mind to input codes with either an Action Replay, Codebreaker, or GameShark. All the below codes are compatible with most emulators.
