Tips & Tricks Turbo Boost on Race Start At the start of a race, wait until immediately after the second light flashes, then hold down on the gas. This will give you a turbo boost on ‘Go’ and easily shoot you to first place. Turbo Boost After Lakitu Retrieval Anytime you get stuck or fall off the track for more than several seconds, Lakitu will arrive to pick you up and put you back to get you moving properly again. Wait until the moment you’re dropped back on the track, then press A to get a turbo boost. Change Weight Class of Mii Racer On your Wii, visit the Mii Channel to change the weight of your Mii driver. This has an effect on the Mario Kart Wii game that will cause you to ride a different car and change weight class. Play Same Character Across Multiple Players Have P1 choose the character you both want to be. Next, deselect the character and move off of it. Have P2 select the character.
