Jakks Pacific has shown off a new line of electric toy vehicles designed for children to ride in the form factor of go-carts from Nintendo’s iconic Mario Kart series. The Karts are currently available through major retailers, including Walmart.

This vehicle reaches a top speed of approximately 8MPH with up to three speeds for forward driving. Although mushrooms could make it feel as if you’re going faster, the plastic wheels only work well on flat surfaces like roads. Still, they’re probably ideal for when you need to drift around a corner.
To add to the ambiance, there are a ton of sound effects taken from the games in this 24V Racer, and while it is marketed to all drivers aged 3 and older, the seat adjusts as the driver grows up. For adults, this means there is hope that you can keep growing into your ’30s to make your daily commute but fail to have a budget for a full-size car.
