The latest addition to the roster of playable classes in the popular Korean MMO Lost Ark is arriving on November 16 is none other than the Reaper, the third advanced class for Assassin.

As detailed in a new blog post by Lost Ark Academy, Reapers specialize in stealth, with the ability to quickly swap between three different kinds of attacks, including Normal, Persona, and Chaos.

Players that try out the Reaper will need to build up their Persona meter, granting them access to a number of abilities, including Shadow Illusions. When the Persona meter fills up, players can opt for Chaos mode, greatly enhancing their attack speed, movement speed, and critical rate for a short duration.

There are two main ways to build up Reapers utilizing the class engraving system. Firstly, the Hunger class engraving focuses on building the Chaos meter quicker, increasing your attack power when it becomes full. Second, Lunar Voice, tailors itself around far more powerful attacks while you are in Persona mode, which significantly increases Swoop abilities’ base damage while using Persona mode.

Just like all other classes, Reapers give players two different Awakening skills to choose from.

As is the case with prior Advanced class releases, developer Smilegate has offered a new Powerpass available to those players that finished the Punika questline. This allows the ability to take the Reaper right into endgame content.

This class arrival comes in tandem with a Hyper Express Event in addition, where players will have the opportunity to earn extra upgradable materials to reach the current item level cap of 1,445.

In addition to the Reaper, we’re also getting the Summoner Advanced class alongside two raids. Amazon recently detailed the end-of-the-year plan in a detailed content map.
