How to Get Rough Amber in LEGO Fortnite
Rough Amber is found in the Desert (Dry Valley) biome. You will also need an Uncommon Pickaxe or better to harvest the material.
To protect yourself from the heat, you can counter this by placing your feet in the bodies of water around, eating a Snow Berry, or using a Cool-Headed Charm. Alternatively, you can avoid the heat by visiting the area at dusk, dawn, or night.
Look around the tall rocks in the Dry Valley for yellow formations growing on top, this is Amber. They will usually be high up on the rocks, so you will need to build steps to reach them.
How to Get Cut Amber in LEGO Fortnite
Cut Amber is crafted using Rough Amber and a Gem Cutter. Below are all the materials necessary to make it:
- 20x Marble Slabs
- 5x Rough Amber
- 5x Sand Claws
- 3x Sand Shells
Marble Slabs are crafted from Marble that is harvested from Grassland Caves. Sand Claws drop off of Wolves in the Desert Biome. Sand Shells drop off of Rollers in the Desert Biome.
Once you have gathered all materials and constructed a Gem Cutter, interact with it and select the ‘Cut Amber’ recipe on the left side of the materials menu.
Confirm you want to make the recipe, then use the ‘Add’ option at the top of the screen to put in the amount of Rough Amber you wish to turn into Cut Amber. The machine will automatically start once you put pieces in.
After the Cut Amber is ready, you can use the prompted command at the end of the bar at the top of the Gem Cutter menu to collect the material.
