LEGO has officially announced a new collaboration with Nintendo that focuses on Animal Crossing. A feature trailer was posted on Twitter/X showing off several popular villagers from the franchise, all rendered in the distinct blocky style of LEGO.
According to VGC, there will be five sets available by March 2024. The tentative list includes the following:
- Set 77046: 170 pieces ($15)
- Set 77047: 164 pieces ($20)
- Set 77048: 233 pieces ($30)
- Set 77049: 389 pieces ($40)
- Set 77050: 535 pieces ($75)
The collaboration between LEGO and Nintendo has seen many popular sets for famous series over the years. For example, the Super Mario line includes high-quality mini-figures of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and more with customizable courses. In addition, the Mighty Bowser is a recent recreation of King Koopa, and the Question Block from Super Mario 64 pays heed to the plumber’s initial jump to 3D.
