Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (KOTOR 2) is Obsidian Entertainment’s sequel to BioWare’s original masterpiece. It was first released in 2004 for Xbox and later ported to additional systems, including PC, Linux, OS X, iOS, Android, and, most recently, Nintendo Switch in 2022. Unfortunately, the DLC responsible for restoring content for KOTOR 2 has been canceled for Nintendo Switch.

Aspyr Media, the company responsible for porting the game to various systems, promised at launch that it would release a Restored Content DLC designed to include all the missing elements that were supposed to be in the original game but failed to make the cut.

Instead, for those who purchased the game, Aspyr is providing free Star Wars game keys, which can be redeemed through its support page. The game keys include access to the following titles:

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (Nintendo Switch version)
  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords (Steam version)
  • Star Wars: Episode I Racer
  • Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
  • …and more.

At first, the task of restoring missing content that was intended to be featured in KOTOR II was done by fans through a dedicated mod. It’s currently available on Steam if you have the PC version.
