What are Relics in Honkai: Star Rail?
Relics in Honkai: Star Rail function similarly to Artifacts in Genshin Impact. They act as equipment designed to improve your characters’ stats in customizable ways.

These relics can be combined to acquire set bonuses if they are of the same type. Still, it’s best to mix and match to suit the build you’re going after.
Types of Relics in Honkai: Star Rail
No more than six relics can be equipped for any one character. By equipping relics of the same set, you will receive additional buffs.
Relics are classified into six types, each specializing in a primary stat.

In addition to the primary stat bonus, relics have sub stats that are randomly generated. As your level them up, the piece acquires new random sub stats at key thresholds. They will upgrade random sub stats are key thresholds.
How to Get Relics in Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail relics became available once your Trailblazer reaches level 14. You need to also complete the quest Once Fallen Into The Abyss on Jarilo-VI. Advanced-level relics require you to reach level 24.

Caverns of Corrosion
Honkai: Star Rail relics are mainly acquired from a type of Challenge called the Cavern of Corrosion. These are daily activities unlocked at level 24, requiring Trailblaze Power x40 each to take on. You unlock Caverns during the mission The Stars Are Cold Toys.
Most of the relic sets you receive from completing Caverns of Corrosion benefit specific types of character builds.
World Exploration
By exploring the world, you will run into many different chests. When opened, you’ll have a chance to acquire low-level relics.
Synthesizer Crafting
The Omni-Synthesizer allows you to craft specific custom relics upon reaching Equilibrium Level 3.
Completing Operation Briefing Tasks
After unlocking level 5 Operation Briefing Tasks, you can start receiving relics for these achievements.
