GTA VI has been supposedly delayed to 2026, which has worried many fans. Developer Rockstar Games has yet to make a new announcement since December 2023.
According to a recent post on X by billsyliamgta, the man who leaked the game’s initial trailer, GTA VI has been internally delayed.
Rockstar Games has now made the decision to release GTA 6 in mid-2026. They also suggested that it will not arrive on PC at release, and instead take up to 12-18 months to come out after the console versions.
The gaming community has been shaken by this news. This hints that a section of the GTA community is already expecting the game to be delayed with no new information being shared by developers over the past 9 months.
It was claimed by an insider on an episode of the XNC Podcast, that fans can expect to see the second trailer of GTA VI during the Game Awards in December 2024. The next footage should announce the possible GTA VI delay if the report is not true.
