Two of the voice actors have made public outcries in which they share their experiences. Corina Boettger, Paimon’s English VA, says she’s owed thousands by the studio, and Brandon Winckler, known for several minor roles, even went as far as to announce he’s quitting.
Boettger complained about the same issue in her own thread but noted that she does not know if it is the fault of the developer or the studio. Given the fact that Genshin Impact is not affiliated with any unions, this issue is allowed to persist.
Still, both actors suggest that a game of this scope deserves to be a union project to ensure artists involved are treated with respect and paid on time.
