Gaining Affection in Tears of Themis

tears of themis affection

The main story chapters of Tears of Themis include romantic encounters between Rosa, the game’s protagonist, and any one of the four male characters. A key feature is Tears of Themis Affection, where you first visit and interact with each of the male characters.

You also get the ability to read their story to discover more of their traits and improve their bond with Rosa. Initially, you will have limited capacity for interaction with only a few chapters per character.

To unlock additional stories and interactions, Rosa will have to raise their Tears of Themis Affection levels.

Currently, there are two primary ways to raise your husbando’s Affection. These include Reading Card Stories and Visiting.

Reading Card Stories

Every SSR and SR card in Tears of Themis includes a series of stories. Upon first obtaining a card, you will only get access to the first part of the story.

Unlocking the rest requires card evolution through the acquisition of certain materials. You get these materials through progressing study levels.

Fully evolving a card of choice complete unlocks the attached storyline. Tap on the gift icon to claim these Affection points. As a result, you’re rewarded with both Affection and S-Chips. Still, be sure to read the stories you unlock with each level to get the affection boost.

While many consider this to be the best and most effective way to improve Affection levels, it demands a lot of in-game currency and time. What’s more, you’ll eventually read all of the stories attached to the cards.

Visiting

The easiest way to accumulate Affection in Tears of Themis is through visiting your companions. You can either get physical with your male friend or partake in some mini-games, such as Old Maid (see above).

Unfortunately, the daily amount of Affection points you can muster caps at 1000. After this has been spent, you’ll have to wait 24 hours for the next refresh.
