Fire Emblem Engage represents the latest entry in Nintendo’s tactical RPG series. Set on the Elyos continent, players must once again take down an evil dragon that plagues the land. Even though the main plot is standard fare for the series, many gamers have been interested in learning about the new support system. Read on to learn about Fire Emblem Engage romance options.
Fire Emblem Engage released January 20, 2023 exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
How romance works in Fire Emblem Engage
An item known as the Pact Ring is acquired by the player character early into the campaign during Paralogue: The Connector at the Garden of Memories. This allows you to make one companion character an S-Rank Ally. There are no gender limits in terms of relationships in Fire Emblem Engage, so you can give it to any character to partner with them.
Some characters will declare their love for you, while others will develop purely platonic relationships.
Note that you cannot romance characters that return from previous games in the Fire Emblem series that appear in Engage.
