Yoshi-P confirmed in an interview at PAX West that Final Fantasy XVI will be receiving a PC port along with 2 paid DLCs. Square Enix is planning to reveal further details before the end of the year.
Right now, Final Fantasy XVI is available on PlayStation 5 as a timed exclusive. This version of the game will be receiving a significant update, as detailed in the patch notes.
According to Yoshi-P, the team has received an “enormous amount of feedback from players around the world.”
To accommodate what players wanted the most out of Final Fantasy XVI so far that they felt was lacking, Yoshi-P said the team is working on “two installments of paid DLC” to “see more of Valisthea’s story and spend more time with her inhabitants.”
