Everything Announced at The Game Awards 2024

Here is everything announced at The Game Awards 2024. Also, check out our list of all winners and nominees.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet

Studio: Naughty Dog

Neil Druckmann and the rest of Naughty Dog are leaving The Last of Us behind for now and making a new IP set in space, called Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. According to Druckmann’s post on PlayStation.Blog, “Intergalactic stars our newest protagonist, Jordan A. Mun, a dangerous bounty hunter who ends up stranded on Sempiria – a distant planet whose communication with the outside universe went dark hundreds of years ago.”

“In fact, anyone who’s flown to it hoping to unravel its mysterious past was never heard from again. Jordan will have to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.”

Tati Gabrielle will play Jordan and she will be joined by a “stellar cast” that looks to include such other performers as Kumail Nanjiani.

There is still a ton to learn about the game, but the final shot of the trailer did show Jordan attacking a foe with a pretty impressive blade. Oh, and we also have to mention the other real-world brands that were part of this trailer/world, including Sony, Adidas, Porsche, and more.
