The Scrap Metal is one of the Peacekeeper’s quests you can complete in the game. All you have to do is mark certain objectives and help the Peacekeeper locate some tanks. Unfortunately, the game does not provide location details, which can make it difficult for players to complete the task.
How to Complete the Scrap Metal Quest in Escape from Tarkov
To complete the Scrap Metal quest, you will need to mark three T-90 Tanks on the Shoreline map using the MS2000 Marker. To get the markers, visit Prapor and purchase them for 15,177 Euros each. You will need to be at least level 10.
Once the markets are placed, they will need to be protected for 30 seconds, or else the game will not register the objective.
T-90 Tank Locations on Shoreline
- The first T-90 Tank is found on the central north side of the map. Visit the marked location and cross the bridge. Aside from a small mountain, you will find the tank facing a bunker. Mark it using the MS2000 marker.
- The second T-90 Tank is close to the middle of the map, slightly east. It is stuck on a small bridge. Mark it using the MS2000 marker.
- The third T-90 Tank is found to the southwest, in the middle of the road. Mark it using the MS2000 marker.

Players will receive the following rewards for completing the Peacekeeper’s quest:
- 5,900x EXP
- 900x Dollars
- 0.03+ Peacekeeper Reputation
- x1 HK MP5 9×19 submachine gun
- x120 9x19mm Pst
