How to Get the Commander’s Standard in Elden Ring

As you move in the southwest direction from Sellia, Town of Sorcery, towards the heart of the clearing, keep an eye out for a group of trees planted in a circular formation. Commander O’Neil spawns in this location. He is an optional boss who drops the Commander’s Standard halberd weapon.
How to Beat Commander O’Neil in Elden Ring

Melee or Magic attacks by foot will be enough to beat Commander O’Neil. He will wield the Commander’s Standard and call on the spirits of soldiers from exile. It is advisable to fight this battle while riding Torrent. It will help you outrun the Commander’s attacks and counters and help to avoid his henchmen.
Killing the henchmen will make the fight easier and the Commander won’t summon another group. Commander O’Neil is a slow-moving boss and he isn’t really bothered to chase you everywhere on the field. Apart from his close-range swings which can be avoided easily, the only real danger while facing him is the Scarlet Rot and his henchmen.
Move out of the arena during the buildup of the Scarlet Rot to avoid it. Consumables, immunity will slow the effects if you are caught by it, but it won’t reverse the damage.
