How to Get Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Vanellope, you must first complete the following quests:
- “The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley” from Scrooge McDuck.
- “Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust” from Vanellope.
How to Complete The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley quest
Acquire the quest automatically after updating the game, then speak to Scrooge McDuck in his store during the day. He will tell you he saw a ghost in the Dream Castle.
Next, enter the Dream Castle. Take the stairs to the top, and you will find Vanellope von Schweetz–the president of Sugar Rush, standing by a large water fountain.
You will then be introduced to DreamSnaps, an all-new feature in the game that lets you express your creativity and earn exclusive prizes. Visit the Events tab to find all the current challenge requirements. Take some photos of cool things outside the Dream Castle to complete the quest.
How to Complete Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust quest
To complete “Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust”, you need to continue to use the DreamSnaps feature and take a picture that meets the challenge tag requirements. For this quest, the challenge requirements include:
- Playful x5
- Familiar x5
DreamSnaps tasks players with decorating an area of their valley with furniture that has tags specified by the challenge. For this quest, we recommend the tags “Modern” and “Wreck-It Ralph.” Open your Inventory and select the All category. Then, select the small toggle button located by the Filters button.
This will filter all of the items that meet the required tag. Now, place down the required items in a close enough area that you can capture them all in one photo.
Snap a photo with the camera, which opens the DreamSnaps menu UI in the top left corner of the photo, which can be toggled on and off (D on PC). This UI will display whether you’re missing or exceeding the requirements needed to successfully submit an entry. If you meet the tag requirements, confirm and submit your DreamSnaps entry (T on PC).
Upon submitting your photo entry, you’ll receive 50 Pixel Dust and a note stating that all future challenge rewards will be sent to your mailbox.
Place Vanellope’s House in the Valley
Return to Dream Castle and speak with Vanellope, who you will find at the top of the stairs by the fountain. She will then ask you to place her house somewhere in the Valley.
Now, place down her house and pay 4,000 Dreamlight Coins to Scrooge McDuck to construct her home.
With her glitch now under control, Vanellope will be a permanent resident in Dreamlight Valley, and the Faith, Trust, and Pixel Dust Quest will be completed.
