To unlock Jafar, you must have access to the A Rift in Time expansion, and complete the entire main storyline on Eternity Isle, concluding with the quest, “The Now and Then.”
Prerequisites to Get Jafar in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Complete the following quests on Eternity Isle to get Jafar:
- All Act 1 and Act 2 “A Rift in Time” Story Missions
- All Act 3 “A Rift in Time” Story Missions
- Mysterious Mickey
- Use Your Imagination – Mickey
- Use Your Imagination – Rapunzel
- Use Your Imagination – Gaston
- Use Your Imagination – EVE
- The Palace of Time
- Jafar’s Laboratory
- The Now and Then
- The Lesser Evil
How to Get Jafar in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Complete “The Now and Then” quest, then receive Jafar’s Lamp. You will then need to travel to The Plains, where you will find a 2D Cactus. The location of the Cactus will differ for each player, so keep a close watch as it can be easily missed.
After finding the Cactus, you will then be presented with Oswald’s quest, “The Lesser Evil”, that triggers upon picking up the Cactus. During “The Lesser Evil” you will need to find two more 2D items, collect three research notes, and finally visit the Cave of Wonder to be able to release Jafar from his lamp and unlock him as a villager.
