How to Get Emeralds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Emeralds are green-colored gems that can be primarily found when mining gem rocks in the Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust with a pickaxe. They sell for 325 Coins. Watch for mining nodes with green spots in these locations, as they are sure to contain Emeralds. Outside of this, there is no guarantee you will get any gem, so you will likely need to try several to get what you are looking for.
If you have yet to unlock all of the biomes, consider opening the Forest of Valor as it only costs 3,000 Dreamlight to open. If you desire to boost your options, the Glade of Trust costs 5,000 Dreamlight to open.

How to Quickly Farm Emeralds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
The best way to farm Emeralds in the Valley is to tag along with a character who has the mining role. You can select a Villager’s role upon reaching level 2 friendship or change it with a Training Manual after reaching max friendship.
You can check which role is assigned to a character by looking at the Collection tab.
To hang out with a character, find them on the map, start a conversation, and then select the ‘hang out’ option. They will follow you around and boost your haul when you decide to mine.
Visit either the Forest of Valor or Glade of Trust with your mining companion to break rock spots. Look for ones with green gems popping out.
What Can You Use Emeralds For In Disney Dreamlight Valley
Emeralds are necessary to complete certain quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley and are also a requirement for certain recipes. Despite being much rarer, Shiny Emeralds will not qualify for these but will for Star Paths.
