Of all the critters in the Dreamlight Valley, Raccoons are skittish and flee when approached too quickly. In order to approach a Raccoon correctly, you will only want to move towards them when they are facing down. They quickly scurry away if you move while they are alerted, which happens when they have their head in the air. Approaching Raccoons is no easy feat, so it may take several attempts before you succeed.
Raccoons are found in bushes within the Forest of Valor or along Dazzle Beach. Blueberries are Raccoon’s favorite food. To reach the Forest of Valor, you will need to clean the main bridge of tree stumps blocking the path. This can only be achieved after receiving the Shovel Blade upgrade, which is obtainable by completing Anna’s welcome quest in the Frozen Realm.
