Destiny 2 players can don their Guardians in fancy N7 Armor as part of a crossover with BioWare’s Mass Effect series.
Fans of the iconic space opera series can purchase N7 Armor from Destiny 2‘s Eververse store on February 13. This includes a Commander Shepard-inspired N7 set for Titans, a Garrus Vakarian-inspired set for Hunters, and a Liara T’Soni Shadow Broker-inspired set for Warlocks.
Players can claim the Alliance Requisitions Bundle for free, which adds an Alliance Drop Ship Sparrow, Alliance Scout Frigate Ship, and an Enhanced Defense Ghost Shell to their collection. This is not the first time the Destiny series has made crossovers with other games. It has collaborated with Assassin’s Creed and Witcher in the past.
These are purely cosmetic pieces that allow you to transmogrify your armor, and the art style of Mass Effect meshes very well with Destiny‘s. Like other premium sets, you will need to pay real money to own these, typically priced at 2,000 Silver. This works out to $20 for the premium currency.
In other news, the upcoming expansion, Destiny 2: The Final Shape, will be arriving in June after the company confirmed the delay of the project “to deliver an even bigger and bolder vision”. However, this same announcement came after a slew of team layoffs.
Destiny 2 is a first-person shooter developed by Bungie and released in 2017 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It was later released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2020.
