Dead Space Remake: Everything You Need To Know

Space Engineer Isaac Clarke makes a return looking sharper and crispier than ever in the new Dead Space remake, coming January 27, 2023. The game was first revealed at EA Play 2021, and is a major facelift to the original 2008 title.

Beyond a significant graphical overhaul that makes fighting the Necromorphs a more gruesome, bloody experience, Clarke himself is no longer a silent protagonist as he was in the first game.

His voice will be reprised by Gunner Wright, the same actor who portrayed him in the sequels Dead Space 2 (2011) and Dead Space 3 (2013).

Furthermore, as the game moves closer to its release, EA Motive, the developer, shared more technical details about what is coming to the experience. For instance, the USG Ishimura will no longer have pesky loading screens and is “one sequential shot.”

Most importantly, unlike Dead Space 3 (2013), the game will not include any microtransactions. Even better, the project is being led by Eric Baptizat, director of the commercially successful Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (2020).
