Tips & Tricks
10 Hidden Lives
During the Barn Boys chapter, visit the cheese ranch and jump up toward the back wall. Begin on the left and work your way toward the middle of the rock. A light bulb will appear during one of your jumps.
Press the B button which will make Conker turn into an anvil, smashing the rock below. This opens a hidden cave, revealing a special squirrel tail that gives you 10 lives rather than 1.
Skip the Intro
From the second the game turns on, press the Reset button on the Nintendo 64 button. When the logo introduction appears, press Start as soon as Conker starts slicing the N logo in half. This skips the tedious cutscene you have to watch every time you boot up.
Become a Spy in War-Colors Mode
If your friendly fire kills 4 or more of your own teammates, the game will label you a traitor. Your teammates will begin to attack you. However, at this point, if you enter the opposing team’s base they will be friendly and not attack. You can use this to your advantage to kill your own teammates from the safety of the enemy base.
If you are with the Squirrels, turn traitor, and enter the Tediz base, you can kill Squirrels. But if you want to act as a ‘Spy’, you can actually use it to sneak into the Tediz base and kill Tediz without consequence on behalf of your original team. This works vice versa, depending on which side you pick.
Aiming Laser with Throwing Knives
During the multiplayer game, “Raptor”, locate a crossbow and stand near some throwing knives. Enter aiming mode, enable the laser, and side-step on the knives.
When taking the knives, there will be a laser pointing at the last point you were aiming at. Do not use the crossbow with this glitch enabled. Otherwise, it will reset.
Banjo and Kazooie Cameo
On the main menu, you can turn the camera by navigating through the menus. If you take a close look, you’ll eventually spot Banjo and Kazooie, from the popular Rare game of the same name, making a cameo appearance.
Banjo’s head is hung at the fireplace and Kazooie is in the closet being used as an umbrella.
Invincibility in War Mode
In War Mode, play a match of Total War and wait until someone grabs the canister (it can’t be you).
As soon as the countdown starts, go into the gas mask room and wait there. Once the countdown ends, you will be invincible in the room except for suicide via your own grenades and torched by a flamethrower.
Torching Butterflies
If Conker stands still for a long enough period of time, he goes into an idle animation that cycles between things like reading a bikini girl magazine, playing with a yo-yo, etc.
However, when standing near a group of butterflies (especially near the Nasty/Nice sign), Conker will get so bored he whips out a flamethrower and torches nearby butterflies!
