Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the best-selling game on the Nintendo Switch and has shipped nearly 44 million copies since the conclusion of 2021. It's now a five-year-old title based on an original port from the Wii U. Mario Kart 8 is a kart racing game developed by Nintendo and released exclusively for the Wii U in 2014. An enhanced version, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, was released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
